‘Sutra’ means thread, and this initiative is a symbolic and literal effort to weave together the heritage, artistry, and talent of India’s diverse states — from the handlooms of Assam to the khadi clusters of Gujarat, from the intricate weaves of Varanasi to the tribal textiles of Northeast India.
